Malaka Jaya Revitalizes Curbs on Two Major Roads Ahead of Independence Day

To celebrate Indonesia’s upcoming 81st Independence Day, seven PPSU personnel from Malaka Jaya have begun repainting the curbs along Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai and Jalan RS Soekamto in East Jakarta.

Malaka Jaya Urban Village Head, Eko Purnomo Asih, stated that the repainting is essential as the existing curbs had become faded and dull.
"We're restoring the iconic black-and-white road markings to beautify the area. Seven personnel have been deployed for this task," he expressed, Monday (8/3).
Tanjung Priok Terminal Area Gets a Stunning Botanical MakeoverHe explained that the repainting on Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai spans approximately two kilometers, stretching from the Pondok Kopi Flyover underpass to the Malaka Sari border.
Meanwhile, the work on Jalan RS Soekamto covers about one kilometer on each side of the road.
"The work kicked off last week, and we are on track to finish by the end of this week," he added.
It aims to enhance the city’s aesthetic appeal while significantly improving road safety, especially at night.
